Disconnecting accounts and deleting data
This page explains how to disconnect a platform account from Stocker Studio and how to request deletion of data. Data is deleted from our systems on the basis of a request sent by email — we do not have an online form.
Step 1. Revoke access in the platform’s settings
This is the fastest way to stop access. Once access is revoked, the platform invalidates our tokens and Postiz can no longer post to the account or read its data. Menu labels may differ between app versions.
| Platform | Where to revoke access |
|---|---|
| YouTube (Google) | Google account permissions — select the app and remove its access. |
| TikTok | Profile → menu → Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → App permissions → Stocker.app → Remove access. |
| Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → select the integration → Remove. | |
| If the account was connected through a Facebook Page — as for Facebook. Otherwise: Settings → Apps and websites. | |
| Threads | Threads account settings → the app and website permissions section. |
| X | Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → Revoke app permissions. |
Step 2. Disconnecting the channel in Postiz (authorised people)
A person authorised by Goodbax can also disconnect the channel in Postiz. Postiz then stops using it.
Important: in the way Postiz works, a disconnected channel is marked as deleted, but its record — including tokens — may remain in the database. So neither disconnecting nor revoking access on its own deletes all data. That is what step 3 is for.
Step 3. Send a data deletion request
Write to info@goodbax.com with the subject “Stocker Studio — data deletion”. Include:
- the platform and the name or URL of the account or channel,
- what the request covers — e.g. all data of the account, a specific piece of content, your image in content,
- an email address for our reply.
Do not send passwords or sign-in codes. If we cannot establish that the request comes from an entitled person, we will ask for additional confirmation, e.g. a message sent from the account concerned.
What happens after the request
- We confirm receipt of the request.
- A person authorised by Goodbax deletes the data covered by the request from Studio and Postiz — in particular authorisation data, profile data of the connected account and unpublished content — or explains why some of the data cannot be deleted.
- We inform you of the outcome without undue delay, within the GDPR time limit — as a rule within one month. In complex cases this may be extended, and we will tell you in advance.
What deletion may not cover immediately
- Backups. Data may remain in server backups until they are replaced by newer backups.
- Data we must or may keep — where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
- Posts already published on platforms. These are stored by the platform. If you want a post on our channel removed — e.g. one showing you — say so in your request; we will consider it and remove the post if there are grounds to do so.
- Data held by platforms and other providers, e.g. Google, TikTok, Meta or X, which process it under their own rules. Deletion there must be requested directly from them.
